Development

We study adolescent social-emotional development and health. Our research examines when and why teenagers’ relationships with their peers, parents, and romantic partners affect their psychological and physical well-being.

CONTEXT

We prioritize research that captures the experiences of diverse youth in real-world settings. Therefore, most of our research takes place out of the lab and in adolescents’ everyday school, home, and online environments.
